Registration for the 2027 UCR Registration year opens on October 1, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. EDT. Pricing for UCR is based on the number of trucks operated under a USDOT number plus a service fee.
NOTE: Registration for the 2026 registration year (except for state audit purposes) ends on December 31, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. EDT.
The Unified Carrier Registration is a federal mandate per Code of Federal Regulations Title 49 Section 367. An annual payment for the UCR is required for all companies with an active U.S. DOT number engaged in interstate commerce and/or transporting goods that originate or have a destination outside of the company’s base state.
